- What is the Breedio stallion registry?
- A moderated stallion directory built to help you choose a stallion for your mare. Each profile brings together breed, studbook, discipline, bloodlines, performance, breeding terms and stud fee, with the stud farm's contact details.
- How do I search for a stallion?
- By breed, studbook, discipline, country, breeding type and stud fee. Results can be compared side by side, up to three stallions at a time.
- What do live cover, fresh AI, frozen AI and embryo transfer mean?
- They are the breeding types a stallion offers. Live cover: the mare is covered in hand or at pasture. Fresh AI: artificial insemination with fresh or chilled semen shipped to the mare. Frozen AI: insemination with frozen semen, which can be stored and shipped over long distances. Embryo transfer: the embryo is carried by a recipient mare.
